Portfolio Director, Accelerator Program - Innovation

The Portfolio Director will be responsible for working with external startups and internal business units to promote and foster innovation through the Digital Platform. This role will create a series of initiatives that directly impact the core business needs and works with the most innovative startups in the Health Tech space. 

How you will make an impact:

•    Manage and execute projects to support the Innovation Accelerator Program and Behavioral Health portfolio, including startup sourcing and pilot execution 
•    Lead partnerships with external startups by standing up short-term pilots within strategic business units
•    Partner with subject matter experts to assess business impact of pilot through KPI/ROI metrics and analyze results. 
•    Develop and deliver proposals and insights to internal subject matter experts, Innovation program leadership, and external clients 
•    Assist in developing project plans to ensure delivery of work in support of Accelerator and Behavioral Health portfolio by outlying specific goals, identifying risks, and preparing contingency plans
•    Develop and maintain relationships with legal, data, research, and clinical team members to achieve goals and to move ideas from ideation to implementation
•    Conduct market scans and identify potential use cases and product risks to program leadership and propose solutions that foster and promote innovation within the guidelines of our overall digital strategy
•    Identify opportunities for collaboration, while identifying points of connection with internal subject matter experts 
•    Take initiative and create solutions and proposals that can go from idea to implementation
•    Leads efforts to take on challenges and ensure that portfolio initiatives are delivered on time 
•    Provides insights to program leadership to track progress and support efforts to determine future strategy of portfolio and programs offered
Minimum Requirements:
•    Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 10 years of experience in organizing a series of large size projects into a single portfolio, multiple technical and business disciplines, planning and designing large complex project portfolios, technical systems Process Life Cycle or related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 

Preferred Qualifications:
•    MBA preferred, 3-5 years prior experience in Management Consulting and or HealthCare 
•    Experience with behavioral health solutions 
•    Incumbent should also have an expert understanding of the Enterprise Annual Governing Process Life Cycle.
