The is a manager level role and the person in this position must live within 50 miles of the Hanover, MD office. Work hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST .
The Manager Data Analysis manages professional level associates engaged in various levels of data and statistical analysis that includes compiling, manipulating, analyzing, and reporting of data. Typically data is used for both internal and external purposes.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Manages a range of moderate to complex activities involving data analysis.
- Manages, participates and coordinates the development and implementation of new/revised systems and procedures, such as developing new methods of analysis or sampling guidelines.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
- Requires BA/BS, and 5-7 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Knowledge of programming languages and statistical software required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Excellent analytical skills and strong oral and written communication and organizational skills strongly preferred.
- Intermediate to expert level experience using SQL, Oracle, and Power BI highly desirable.
- Previous background as a Project Manager, Developer, or Analyst with report writing and development experience strongly preferred.
