Responsible for leading our Clinical Pharmacy Care Call Center for the Pharmacy Benefits manager (PBM) supporting Medication Therapy Management, telephonic member and provider outreach to address and close gaps in care, Medicare Stars, and supporting member whole health programs. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Oversees clinical development of member and provider telephonic outreach programs designed to promote adherence, address gaps in care and manage drug spend.
- Models programs and analyzes data to help guide program design, create staffing models and workflows/outreach strategies for the call center.
- Provides leadership in the measurement and review and compilation of claims outcomes data to support cost effective program design decisions.
- Manages overall quality and support of the Health Plans accreditation and Medicare Stars efforts.
- Participates on pharmacy committees and develops relationships with key stakeholders.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.
Requires a licensed pharmacist in applicable state and minimum of 8 years of experience in the PBM clinical pharmacy initiatives which includes a minimum of 3 years of management experience in leading clinical professionals and experience with P & T committees; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Broad understanding of key cost of care tools and quality standards strongly preferred. Excellent understanding of industry trends and competition strongly preferred.
- MBA or MHA preferred.
