Pay: the pay for this position varies by location, is set by the government, and is non-negotiable

Description:


As a Customer Care Team Lead, you will act as a team lead in reviewing requests by mail, telephone, or in person regarding insurance claims/policies for the NGS business unit while performing all complex functions.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees all daily activities of NGS Customer Service Reps.

  • Troubleshoots specific problems/issues.

  • Performs quality audits and other unit CPE measurements.

  • Provides leadership and guidance to unit.

  • Participates on management teams.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School diploma or GED; 5 + years NGS or Medicare Customer Service experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience in claims or customer service preferred.

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and databases required.

  • Has the knowledge and experience to complete assignments independently.

  • Capable of meeting time-sensitive deadlines and multi-tasking.

  • Strong organization and planning skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills including professional telephone etiquette.

  • Experience in Written Communication Skills – highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of Medicare systems - highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of CMS (Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services) regulations and guidelines – highly preferred.

This position is part of our FGS (Federal Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.
