Location : Location within 50 miles of an Elevance Health office; locations are Atlanta GA, Mason OH, Indianapolis IN, Richmond VA.

Job Description :

This role will be responsible for delivery of end to end application, system development and maintenance on complex multi technology platforms. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage production runs for applications.

  • Review production failures and provide or review resolutions.

  • Address data issues raised by application users and provide resolutions.

  • Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and leads requirements gathering meetings.

  • Owns the change request process and may coordinate with other teams as necessary.

  • Provides technical advice and weighs in on technical decisions that impact cross functional teams.

  • Develop and design ETL solutions in Informatica, Teradata SQL queries and stored procedures, APIs and securing them for internal/external access.

  • Develop and design big data solution with AWS EMR, Glue, Python and Lambda.

  • Develops and defines application scope and objectives and prepares technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written.

  • Performs technical design reviews and code reviews, technical testing to ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan.

  • Facilitates group sessions to elicit complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews and troubleshooting issues.

  • Develop and design ETL solutions in Informatica, Teradata SQL queries and stored procedures, APIs and securing them for internal/external access.

  • Develop and design big data solution with AWS EMR, Glue, Python and Lambda.

  • Experience leading a large team of developers, providing hands on guidance.

  • Develop tableau dashboard, new enhancements and migration across environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 7 years related experience; multi platform, multi-dimensional experience, and expert level experience with business and technical applications; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.  

Preferred Qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience working with large data warehouses and different warehousing technologies including Teradata, AWS Redshift, Snowflake.

  • 5 years of experience with data flow (ETL) process architecture, design, build and test for analytic software solutions using RDBMS (Teradata), SQL Server, Informatica, Unix.

  • 5 years of experience with advanced scripting on the UNIX operating system to manage files, processes, initiate and control various data-related jobs.

  • 5 years of experience with performance tuning of BTEQ jobs, Informatica mappings/workflow.

  • 5 years of experience designing, building and testing analytic software solutions using Big Data technologies (HDFS, Hive, Impala, Kafka, Spark, Scala) and Java.

  • 5 years of experience scheduling and controlling processes using ESP, CTM and/or WLM.

  • 5 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) development, configuration, setup and monitoring, including core services running on EC2, EMR, S3, CloudWatch, Glue, Lambda

  • 2 years of experience preferred with Tableau dashboard maintenance, configuration & migration.

  • 5 years of experience working with continuous integration tools.
