The CareMore Associate General Manager is responsible for overall market financial performance in Texas. You will manage and coordinate with health plan clients, work with local clinical leadership on care delivery, quality, HEDIS/STARS initiatives, and other performance management activities.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manages a P&L between $25 to $50M to ensure the sub-region achieves growth, member experience, and network performance goals.

  • Conducts in-depth strategic research on market and competition.

  • Develops strategies to respond to competition and improve CareMore's market share.

  • Leads strategic initiatives that involve significant monetary investments and that support key strategic direction to CareMore with oversight from senior leadership.

  • Analyzes financial and operational data and prepares graphic presentations and talking points for senior leadership.

  • Serves as project manager for special projects as directed by executive management.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.

Based in Texas - 20% travel to clinics and markets across the state.

Hybrid (most of the duties/responsibilities will be performed at home).

8 am- 5 pm CST (flexible)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of healthcare delivery experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • MBA/MHA preferred.

  • Prior director/executive level experience within a large healthcare delivery system is strongly preferred.

  • Extensive experience working with profit and loss (P&L) ownership and direct responsibility for revenue growth and financial outcomes within a healthcare delivery system.
