Platform Strategy and Execution Director

The Platform Strategy and Execution Director role is a key leader for the execution of the platform transformation and modernization effort, developing the foundational strategy to enable new products/markets and modifications of existing products. Responsible for working with multiple AIM & myNEXUS functional leaders and collaborating across Carelon. 

How you will make an impact:
•    Oversee the strategy and implementation of a business/technology platform modernization program
•    Support the initial design and management of the program, establishing workstreams with matrix partners 
•    Execute on the guiding principles, working towards program outcomes, and track critical success measures
•    Drive business case development, value management, and tradeoff management balancing the needs of solution, market-deployment/configuration (execution), analytics, and compliance
•    Manage the consolidated roadmap of initiatives across Carelon functional areas, ensuring the program achieves important milestones, submits key deliverables, stays on budget, and meets the objectives
•    Collaborate to utilize lean tools and methodologies for projects, ensuring the program is “on track”
•    Develop executive steering committee materials to provide updates on the overall program, present key decisions for approval, and outline recommendations for addressing key blockers

Minimum Requirements:
•    Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. The ability to travel is required. 

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
•    MBA preferred. 
•    Some travel is required. 
•    Candidate should have excellent communication skills and experience supporting large-scale transformational programs.
