Job Title: Provider Config Analyst Sr

Location: Remote

Responsible for the research, analysis and root cause determination on high complexity claims inquiries and provider appeals.  

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs triage, research and resolution on issues spanning pricing and provider data.
  • Identifies complex business needs and translates the needs for internal partners.  
  • Works to avoid claim payments issues, prevents continuation of ongoing issues and develops the appropriate mitigation plans for pricing and provider data issues.  
  • Maintains issue logs through PCM PEGA and responds to complex inquiries from various departments.
  • Will at times mentor and consult with lower level associates by supporting team development activities and knowledge sharing.
  • Expected to represent team on meetings with market leads, pricing teams, provider data and benefits team along with operational partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires BA/BS degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in related field; minimum 3 years of claims research and/or issue resolution or analysis of reimbursement methodologies within the health care industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualification/s:

  • With FACETS knowledge preferred but not required.
