Responsible for leading, developing, coordinating and aligning the Medicaid and Integration Planning & Program Execution activities with key executive leadership within the Government Business Division (GBD) at Elevance Health.  Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • GBD Medicaid/Integration project prioritization, portfolio performance metrics development and governance, project management, project scheduling, tracking and reporting, portfolio process and tool development/implementation, and cross-functional resource alignment
  • Active coordination of cross Medicaid and GBD portfolio governance methodology and processes
  • Effectively managing relationships within the Medicaid senior leadership team, including finance and building a solid business partnership with the IT organization
  • Working collaboratively with other enterprise portfolio oversight/governance and planning counterparts; and integration with the enterprise portfolio governance and planning processes.  
  • Identifies, develops, hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports


  • BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 10 years of experience with significant large-scale portfolio and product management, project management and/or strategic planning with broad & deep understanding of the health care industry and technology sectors; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills are critical
  • Ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large-scale complex integrations
  • Experience in financial management is a plus
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization specifically in the Healthcare industry
