Solutions Management Manager
 

The Solutions Management Manager (Strategy Consultant) for the Business Process Solutions Profit & Loss (P&L) is responsible for leading the identification, development, planning and implementation of strategies and transformational solutions in support of the BPS growth strategy to meet specific op gain and goals as defined by the annual plan.  Serves as the single point of contact and subject matter expert on all aspects of planning, implementing and managing day to day operational, technical and business partner interactions for existing programs and works together with operational, shared services and executive partners to consult on enhancements to existing and new business solutions based on sound data analytics. The candidate will focus on relationship building and communication acumen including positive customer, partner and executive level interactions.


We are looking for an energetic, curious, passionate, and intrinsically motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment to:

  • Lead larger scale or enterprise-wide level engagement teams and complex projects that cross multiple business units while problem-solving difficult challenges with known and unknown solutions

  • Provide consultation and advice to business partners regarding solutions,  analytics, and complex problems.

  • Explain timelines and measures of success for implementing these solutions.

  • Coordinate with the cross-functional teams regarding issues related to measure implementation or customization by line of business and communicates changes to operational partners for consideration in solutions performance and financial analyses.

  • Coordinate larger scale or enterprise-wide working sessions  to align strategy and plan for assigned business partners.

  • Develop appropriate, applicable, and responsive solutions by reviewing government documents and then analyze, translate and collaborate with the business unit to develop technical content for proposals, pilot opportunities, innovation recommendations and white papers.

  • Collaborate with all business partners for solution development.

  • Provide business partners with the resources, training and services necessary to effectively utilize the solutions that the department provides.

  • Analyze business partner data for QA and identification of opportunities for business partners to utilize solutions and services to improve plan performance.

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of current  and future industry best-practices, operational benchmarks, development plans, communicates this information to business partners, assists in the selection of   solutions to be utilized in pilot and full rollout of products and services, and guides business partners in continually reviewing and updating solutions to improve competitive position in the marketplace.

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of assigned operation’s current systems, products and services and basic understanding of future system and solution development plans to allow appropriate level of communication with business partner.

  • Lead department projects and mentors solutions management staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years experience in a related field, including minimum of 2 years experience in solutions management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree and/or professional designation related to field preferred.

  • Project management experience preferred.

  • Passion for finding solutions to complex problems.

  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work effectively and communicate with people at all levels in an organization using written, oral, and visual mediums.

  • Ability to travel preferred.

  • Healthcare experience preferred
