Location : Work-At-Home Opportunity with local travel expectations to meet with brokers and clients weekly 50%-70% of the time. The Territory for this position is San Diego, CA. The selected candidate must reside in San Diego County, CA

**Total compensation will consist of base salary + commission + quarterly bonus to potentially earn over $100,000 per year. Traveling reimbursement including tolls, parking, and mileage. Corporate Amex card for business related expenses. Laptop, IPad & cellular provided. Team support staff to assist with marketing support, territory development, and enhance provider relationships.**

The Regional Sales Manager IS Lead/Broker Medicare Sales will be a high-performing individual contributor who will be responsible for serving as a lead for Regional Sales Managers in Individual Sales and for daily face to face agent/broker sales calls and monthly training seminars for the senior sales 65 market segments. Our ideal candidate has experience and knowledge of all aspects of Medicare, broker relations, accounts management, is client focused with a strong executive presence. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops and implements sales strategies with home office senior management and agents/brokers to increase individual, senior, and specialty sales within their respective territories and those of new RSMs.
  • Works with other RSMs and Broker Sales Manager to increase sales growth for the market as a team.
  • Conducts monthly agent/broker training seminars and assists agents in the development of marketing plans and lead generation acquisition.
  • Has strong knowledge of senior market segments including Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage, and Part D programs.
  • Maintains a strong field presence and builds relationships within the healthcare and broker industry.

Minimum Requirements: 

Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years sales and territory management experience as a current individual/senior RSM IS calling on agents & brokers; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Sales license required by day 60 of employment.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: 

  • BA/BS preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge in the healthcare & Medicare industry is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in building strong client relationships with brokers and key stakeholders in the field is highly preferred.
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties. 
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office products, most notably PowerPoint for creating presentations, Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word.
