The leader chosen for this role will be responsible for ethics & compliance, and internal audit/internal controls teams for the federal government contracting business unit, inclusive of management and professional staff at multiple locations.

Serves as Chief Compliance and Chief Privacy Officer for a specific business area with a dotted line to the external Compliance Committee.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Ensures corporate ethics, compliance, and internal audit environments and internal controls are adequate to safeguard corporate assets, ensure the integrity of financial reporting systems, monitor compliance with privacy requirements, and meet government contract obligations.

  • Drives a corporate culture of integrity, ethics, and compliance.

  • Directs the development of the annual risk assessment and Master Audit Plan.

  • Oversees internal compliance investigations, reviews findings, and approves final recommendations; reviews and approves audit reports.

  • Oversees the performance of financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with the annual Master Audit Plan.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 10 years experience in Ethics/Compliance and/or Internal Audit support, including a minimum of 5 years of management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: 

  • CIA, CPA, or related certification

  • Leadership experience with Federal Government Contractor Compliance Program, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and Medicare
