How you will make an impact:

Responsible for the profitability of pharmacy fulfillment operations.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the operation of the pharmacy in conformance with statutes and regulations pertinent to the practice of pharmacy.
  • Ensures compliance with laws governing the practice of pharmacy and distribution of drugs.
  • Develops and maintains system of inventory record keeping and control to detect any shortages or discrepancies in drug inventory.
  • Assures that all prescription drugs and controlled substances are safe and secure in the pharmacy.
  • Prepares plan to safeguard prescription records and pharmaceuticals in the event of a natural disaster.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires BA/BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D and minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Pharmacist in a retail setting; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Valid Registered Pharmacist license required.
  • Occasional nights and weekends required as business needs permit.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Minimum of 3 years management experience in healthcare environment or relevant work experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
