Title: UX Researcher

The UX Researcher is responsible for leading the qualitative and quantitative research for the Digital Solutions team to assist our business partners to build and deliver leading-edge web/application solutions.
How would you make an impact:
Identify appropriate research methodologies to address key business needs and to ensure the research provides clear actionable recommendations. Design studies to address both user behavior and attitudes while using qualitative and quantitative data to assist in the creation of effective, desirable and easy to use digital user interfaces. This may include surveys, moderated and unmoderated usability testing, card sorts, tree testing, intercept studies, focus groups, ethnographic field studies for both web and mobile experiences. Design, author and execute test plans, as well as evaluating the results for evidence based research to develop recommendations. Ability to manage 2-3 research projects.
Qualifications - External
Requires a BA/BS in Human Computer Interactions, Psychology, Information Sciences, Communications related field of study and a minimum of 3 years of experience working in user research/usability; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience examining/synthesizing research and insight development highly preferred
Experience with a variety of research methods and frameworks that could include but are not limited to: user interviews, contextual inquiry, ethnography, empathy mapping, brainstorming, Jobs-to-Be-Done, personas, journey maps, card sorting, surveys, storytelling, customer discovery research, moderated usability testing, and unmoderated usability testing
Experience with remote interview research is a major plus
Experience with tools/platforms such as:
Tools for remote testing - usertesting.com, userzoom, dscout, etc
Tools for remote user engagement - miro, mural, etc
Tools for insight management – Aurelius, dovetail, condens, etc

Annual Salary Range*: $99,360 to $124,200.
Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
