A Provider Resolution Intern will be responsible for supporting our Provider Resolution team through our programs with ongoing projects, investigating disputes business communication, and creative problem solving for escalated claims resolution.
This is a 100% remote, paid Summer Internship. The Elevance Health Summer Internship program is a full time, 40 hour per week opportunity taking place from June 5th, 2023 to August 11th, 2023.
How you will make an impact:
Opportunity to perform innovative work for multiple lines of business
Supports claim research and trend analysis
Works with internal matrix partners to triage issues and submit work requests
Collaborate with and assist SMEs in prompt claims resolution through direct contact with providers, claims, pricing, and other internal business partners
Participating in special project and/or ad-hoc project work consistent with department responsibilities, as determined by the needs of the business
Actively pursuing a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Healthcare Management, Project Management or related degree at an accredited college or university
Ability to work the hours set forth by the Summer Internship Program, 40 hours per week from June 5th-August 11th
Must be authorized to work in the U.S., without future visa sponsorship requirements
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, especially Access and Excel
Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills
