This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid work model which includes remote work and 4-10 days in office per month.


The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing financial and business-related analyses and researching in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, business improvement, and business investment opportunities.

How You Will Make an Impact :

  • Prepares budgets, forecasts, trend analyses and expense accruals.

  • Provides information for various monthly journal entries.

  • Compiles and prepares standard and adhoc financial reports.

  • Directly supports finance directors and consultants for Elevance Health's commercial business

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 1 year of experience in general accounting, financial planning, and management reporting or an approved Finance internship; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:                                                   

  • MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access strongly preferred

  • Exposure to Oracle PeopleSoft preferred

  • Proven ability to create pivot tables and manipulation of data preferred

  • Prior use of Hyperion strongly preferred

  • Previous experience collaborating with director level associates preferred
