A Business Process Solutions (BPS) Intern will be responsible to assist in the identification, development, planning and implementation of strategies and transformational solutions in support of the BPS growth strategy.

Functions OR examples of projects for this role: 

  • Coordination between business units to develop innovation and white paper submissions leveraging key strategic messaging and marketing skills

  • Participate in discussion and/or lead development of innovative, agile solutions and white papers

  • Research and evaluate industry trends and potential growth initiatives

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the Summer 2023 internship

  • Actively pursuing a degree in Political Science, Economics, Health Policy, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or other related degree at an accredited university during internship

  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements

  • This position is part of our FGS (Federal Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills

  • Excellent Public Speaking, Presentation and Persuasiveness skills

  • Ability to participate on and coordinate enterprise –wise level projects that cross multiple business units while problem-solving difficult challenges with known and unknown solutions

  • Provide consultation and advice to business partners regarding solutions, analytics and complex problems

  • Develop appropriate, applicable, and responsive solutions by reviewing government documents and then analyze, translate and collaborate with the business unit to develop technical content for proposals, pilot opportunities, innovation recommendations and white papers.

  • Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills

  • Passionate, engaged associates that are looking to support meaningful work

  • Organized, detail oriented and project management skills to assist in coordination of activities

  • Strong oral and written communication to help craft strategic messaging

  • Ability to work with others seamlessly toward shared goals
