Location Miami-Dade County (Floater)
- Responsible for providing continuous support and information to customers, drivers, pharmacists and techs regarding the status of pharmacy orders.
- Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Liaison to customers and
- Pharmacy staff, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all packages.
- Answers inquiries regarding deliveries.
- For non-delivery related questions, refer to appropriate department.
- Assists in maintaining correct documentation of customers Financial Assistance Applications.
- Contacts customers to advise on status of deliveries.
- Communicate with drivers on any delivery status change and/or pertinent information impacting deliveries.
- Ensure all packages are sent out to be delivered.
- Assists in maintaining all delivery record. Maintains a clean and safe work space and environment.
- Comply with company procedures, rules and regulations while performing duties. Communicates effectively with other staff in order to achieve positive customer outcomes.
- Assists customers, family members or other clients with concern and empathy; respect their confidentiality and privacy and communicate with them in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Maintain Confidentiality of customer medical records in accordance with state and federal laws.
- Ensures compliance with all HIPAA, OSHA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
- Participates in meetings, training and in-service education as required.
- Requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of customer service/relations.
- Prior experience in pharmacy environment and understanding of pharmacy terminology strongly preferred.
