Configuration Management Internship - Fall 2022 or Spring 2023 (Part-Time)

A Configuration Management Intern will be responsible for working with the Agile Management Team. They will assist the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Product Manager in the operations of the Functional Release Agile Teams. They will also be working with the Configuration Management team on process automation as it relates to building a CI/CD pipeline around our agile delivery.

How you will make an impact:

  • Bring ideas to the organization based on what you are learning

  • Assist in managing the logistics associated with the Agile Methodology

  • Work on projects both for Agile teams and Configuration Management teams

  • Working with Configuration Management team to integrate DevSecOps into processes

Functions OR examples of projects for this role: 

  • Translating requirements into the Agile backlog through Stories and Features

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies

  • Use Atlassian Tool Suite that includes Jira, Confluence, Requirement Yogi, and Zephyr

  • Organizing Meetings, Collecting Notes, Documenting Processes/Decisions

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work 20 hours per week for the duration of internship

  • Rising junior or senior actively pursuing a degree in Information Technology or related field at an accredited university during internship

  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements

  • This position is part of our FGS (Federal Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner as training

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral

  • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills

  • Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills

  • Knowledge or Jira or other similar tools
