Title: Marketing Acquisition Strategy MBA (Medicare) Intern- Summer 2023

Structure: Remote

The  Marketing Acquisition Strategy MBA Intern  will be responsible for working with Acquisition team to identify, develop, and propose strategies and strategic marketing levers that drive innovation to improve lead generation practice.

Primary responsibilities include supporting:

  • Strategy :

    • Partners to define strategic marketing and success criteria for the future, focusing on digital acquisition efforts

    • Translates strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects, priorities, communication plans and timelines

    • Monitors, measures and communicates delivery against business strategic plan and the quality of outcomes

    • Champions breakthrough projects to transform our current business environment into industry leading best practice organization

  • Strategic Marketing :

    • Leads the application of marketing concepts, levers, and operating strategies (brand positioning, brand architecture, competitive assessment, market strategies, consumer segmentation, media planning, trade/consumer promotions, etc.)

    • Evaluates the effectiveness of marketing programs in order to continuously learn from marketing efforts and improve future programs.

Functions OR examples of projects for this role:  

  • Uncovering and leveraging key insights to derive strategic recommendations to target specific segments (i.e., age-ins, switchers)

  • Presentation of strategic recommendations to multiple audiences, stakeholders, and levels

Student Qualifications:

  • Pursuing an MBA with some concentration in Strategic Marketing, Digital Marketing, Consumer Experience or related concepts

  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day June 5 to August 11

  • Currently enrolled in a program of study at an accredited college/university

Other Criteria for selection include:

  • Possess strong intellectual curiosity and motivated to master analytical skills.

  • Must be a critical thinker capable of producing applied insights and problem-solving

  • Must be a self-starter and quick learner with the desire to learn new tools and techniques

  • Must have structured thinking to synthesize analytic findings (both verbally and written) into actionable strategic recommendations

  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, structured and strategic thinking, facilitation skills

  • Ability to participate collaboratively in a team tasked to produce complex analyses on a rigorous schedule.
