Talent Acquisition Internship - Summer 2023

A Talent Acquisition intern will be responsible for working closely with the Talent Acquisition Team to learn about posting jobs, screening resumes, conducting phone screens, and collaborating with hiring managers. The intent of the internship program is to provide and prepare qualified individuals for a career in Human Resources. Individuals will work on projects related to full life cycle recruiting.  The Talent Acquisition Intern will support a pro-active team environment that enables the Elevance Health Talent Acquisition team to gain a competitive advantage and become an employer of choice.

  Functions OR examples of projects for this role: 

  • Talent Acquisition Process Data : Review data within Workday to assist in making process changes and analyze Core Talent Acquisition effectiveness 

  • Requisition Management : Learn the requisition management process and partner with a recruiter to fill a position throughout the duration of the internship 

  • Sourcing Talent : Engage with the Talent Scout team to evaluate the social media strategy and find ways to broaden our reach 

Minimum Requirements:   

  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week for the duration of the summer internship program in 2023

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university 

  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements

Preferred Skills

  • Able to handle and respect confidential material with absolute discretion

  • Attention to detail 

  • Strong computer skills, to include Office 365 applications
