A Business Change Advisor Intern will be responsible for working with management to implement smaller scale varied projects that support achievement of Medicaid Operations which includes Medicaid Enrollment and Billing and the Medicaid Call Center.   

How you will make an impact:

  • Works with moderate guidance and is responsible for applying project management knowledge, skills, and tools to project deliverables, processes, and systems.

  • Responsible for assisting with the translation of business into application software requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a business or computer science program of study at an accredited college/university.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Project Management experience and/or knowledge

  • Driven and hard-working

  • Ability to take direction and multi-task

  • PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience a plus

  • Participates in developing and/or modifying requirements, business design specifications, user training and documentation

  • Research and documents business issues

  • Translates business requirements to technical staff to ensure that requirements are incorporated into system design

  • Tests and documents solutions

  • Serves as liaison between users of the software and technical staff

  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, for the duration of the summer internship.

  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements  

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner as Training and Licensing will be provided.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills

  • Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills
