Carelon Rx's Advanced Home Delivery Pharmacy Org is looking to hire a MGR II Customer Care Leader.  This People Leader will be responsible for managing staff and responsibilities for a combination of pharmacy call center operational leaders and front end pharmacy business functions that will include oversight and support of patient services, prescriber services, digital services, training support and quality management. S/He will lead a team of supervisors, technicians and service experts working in our patient services tool and pharmacy processing system to deliver best in-class patient outcomes, convenience and accessibility.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensures daily operations of pharmacy services staffing, associate’s job responsibilities and execution of all related job duties are meeting business expectations
  • Develops specific work plans and implements to accomplish operational results. Serves as mentor to lower leveled managers
  • Establishes policies, practices and efficient/effective procedures.
  • Serves as subject matter expert for other areas of the company as well as within the department; has accountability for implementing and maintenance of pharmacy process and procedures; manages multiple functions requiring unique sets of knowledge or has significant fiscal accountability over and above routine people/equipment costs
  • May be assigned to special project work consistent with the role and as dictated by the needs of the business; audits to monitor efficiency and compliance with policies; prepares specialized reports and effectively utilizes tools and metrics (KPI’s) to monitor staff productivity, deliverables, timelines, and quality of work
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Requires BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years previous management experience in central fill or mail order pharmacy operations in addition to a minimum of 3 years operations experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Experiences:

  • Bilingual, Spanish
  • Current state pharmacy tech licensure
  • PTCB certified
