Risk, Controls, and Assurance Co-Op Internship

An  RCA Intern  will be responsible for supporting our Risk, Controls, and Assurance team in ensuring the stability and compliance of audit and regulatory requirements/mandates. Key regulations supported by these efforts include Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), SOC1 reporting, SOC2 reporting, and the HiTrust Security certification. This co-op internship opportunity is 8-11 months in length , giving students a great opportunity to fully immerse themselves and understand the audit process from planning to completion.

How you will make an impact:

  • Create and document results of control testing and review.      

  • Provide research support, develop work programs, engagement plans and collaborate with audit team members.       

  • Assess risk of IT systems, operational processes, and financial processes.        

  • Document business processes dependent on information technology.       

  • Analyzes results of specific or general work requests.

  • Having direct contact with external audit firms for purposes of audit planning and remediation

Minimum Requirements:

  • Actively pursuing a Graduate Degree in either: Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related program (MSA, MSIS, MBA, etc).

  • Have the ability to work onsite in our Indianapolis office for the duration of internship (May-December 2022)

  • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • Ability to work in a team-based team environment

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, Word, and Access
