Title: IAM Operations Management Database

Location: Atlanta, GA; Indianapolis, IN; Richmond, VA; or potential other Elevance Health locations

The position will focus on database application administration for all aspects of Identity & Access Management (IAM) portfolio. Responsible for providing enterprise security solutions for business, regulatory, and legal requirements, and assuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to consult, support, and mentor client stakeholders for all upgrades, deployments, and production operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with Network, Infrastructure, and InfoSec Teams to resolve issues or security concerns of tools/services.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with vendors in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to identified security tools.

  • Must be capable of providing top-tier support for 4 or more of the information security technology common body of knowledge skill sets: 1) Access Control, 2) Application Security, 3) Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, 4) Cryptography, 5) Information Security and Risk Management 6) Legal, Regulations, 7) Compliance and Investigations, 8) Operations Security, 9) Physical (Environmental) Security, 10) Security Architecture and Design, 11) Telecommunications and Network Security.

  • Provides first level engineering design functions and trouble resolution; provides trouble resolution and serves as point of technical escalation on complex problems; leads or plans implementations for access management and network security technologies; leads the investigation and reporting of data security events and incidents; maintains security incident response plans; represents major upgrades and business system replacements in change control; oversees Enterprise mix of vendor services;

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires BS/BA degree in Information Technology or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years experience in systems support, system administration, system engineering, system security, access management, network security, systems development and management, hardware, software, and/or data; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Experience with Oracle databases application level - 4+ years

  • Experience with Windows Server and Linux/Unix operations (non-admin) - 4+ years

  • Experience with cloud such as AWS/Azure – 4+ years

  • Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or related IAM tools – 2+ years

Desired Skills, Experiences and Competencies:

  • Experience with database assessments, health checks, performance, and security audits

  • Experience with monitoring database servers and responding to alerts

  • Experience with database migrations and/or database server consolidations

  • Experience with right-sizing VM for database servers

  • Experience with performance tuning databases and long running queries

  • Experience with stored procedure development

  • Experience with .Net/C# scripts

  • ITILv4 Foundations

  • AWS Foundations

  • Azure Foundations

  • Ability to lead and drive results in a face paced, dynamic, Fortune 50 environment.

  • Experience with multiple technical and business disciplines strongly preferred.

  • Security Certifications: CISSP or other technical security certifications (e.g. Systems Security Certified Practitioner, Certification and Accreditation Professional) strongly preferred.
