This position is for a LTSS SVC Coordinator- Reportable Event Manager (REM). The REM will support current LTSS department needs with review, processing, tracking, and trending of Reportable Events in accordance with current guidelines and contract requirements. This position is also responsible for completing new hire and refresher trainings for Coordinators, internal stakeholders and providers, attend meetings with Amerigroup staff and providers and complete reports in compliance with CRA required compliance with the One Alignment REM process for MLTSS HCBS providers.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicates progress, issues, and barriers to internal stakeholders.

  • Facilitates trainings with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Researches, compiles, extrapolates and reports data related to reportable events.

  • Collaborates with providers through various outreach avenues for reportable event management.

  • Monitors and updates internal reporting databases, ensuring updated reportable event forms.

  • Collaborates with internal teams for reportable event needs.

  • Participates in project initiatives supporting service initiation.

  • Recognized as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for reportable event management.

  • Responsible for adequate review of all regional Reportable Event Forms (REF) and processing varying steps of investigations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Requires a BA/BS in a related field and/or 3+ years managed care experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.  

  • Requires DIDD, 1915c Waiver, ECF CHOICES, and/or CHOICES experience, preferably with primary Reportable Event Management experience.

  • Highly organized, proactive thinking, effective communicator, and vast experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
