The IT Quality Control Advisor develops testing strategy and master test plan to support testing objectives.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Automation & manual Testing. Responsible for design, development, and maintenance of manual and automated test plans/scripts/suits.
  • Documents software defects using a bug tracking system and reports defects to software developers and project managers.
  • Partners with different stakeholders - Product Management, Application Development, Business Operations and other teams in planning, coordination and execution.
  • Manages the relationship with peer in IT and business for system(s) supported.
  • Leads and coordinates all testing within a system area.
  • Plays a leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of testing components.
  • Defines appropriate testing methods to employ to assure developed product conforms to requirements and design.
  • Reviews/Approves all project related test assets for completeness and quality.
  • Ensures all applicable SDLC and testing processes are followed.
  • Accountable for Test Data Management, collection of requirements, evaluation of available data in repositories, ID gaps, and owns test data provisioning tasks.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field of study which includes a substantial software development curriculum or related discipline and a minimum of 5 years of executing application testing and IT product quality experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Quality Certification, such as CSTE, CSQA, CMST, CSQE strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in modern testing tools (e.g. Selenium, TestNG, LeapWork, Rest Assured, etc.), he/she should be able to write and support automated testing solutions for multi-tiered applications.
  • Strong understanding of software programming languages such as Java/C++/SQL/VB Script and the ability to apply to the software domain.
  • Familiarity with general software development/testing tools, capability and usage
  • Excellent problem-solving Skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $83,040 to $149,472.
