Title:  Network Support Consultant (Primary Care Support Manager)

Location: WFH; candidate required to reside in posted states. All other states will be declined.

The Network Support Consultant assists in various aspects of the health care delivery process, including contracting management, reimbursement modeling and relationship management for physicians, providers, facilities, and vendors.

Strategically oriented professionals who help lead the next generation of provider engagement, with a focus on behavioral health integration and leveraging the data available to Primary Care Clinicians (PCCs), helping to improve the value delivered to Beacon members. 
-This is achieved by building highly collaborative strategic partnerships and bringing an analytic mindset to discussions with providers. 

How you will make an impact:
•    The position drives provider performance improvement year-over-year through education and data.
•    Ensures that the health care management's strategic initiative is communicated to the accounts and they meet the account's needs in terms of access, cost, quality, network performance, and service. 
•    Ensures that specific divisional targets for cost of care and provider satisfaction within the scope of the assigned program are achieved.

Minimum Requirements:
•    Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 2 years healthcare experience in Provider Relations, Contracting, or other area of Health Care Management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
 

Preferred skills, capabilities, and experiences: 
•    Advanced degree in healthcare field, i.e. nursing, behavioral health, public health preferred
•    RN, LCSW, LICSW, LMHC license preferred. 
•    Knowledge of managed care, practice transformation, analytics, performance improvement and clinical skill preferred. 
•    5-7 years of experience in a health care setting, either provider or payer, required, primary care preferred.
•    Strong execution and follow-up skills, analytic skills, organization, and ability to multi-task are key.
