*Will consider highly qualified candidates from additional locations. This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid work model which includes remote work and 0-3 days in office per month.

The Talent Acquisition Strategy Manager is responsible for aligning the talent acquisition strategy with the overarching business objectives for a specific line of business.

How You Will Make an Impact: 

  • Acts as the talent strategist for the business and leverage internal and external data to inform decisions.

  • Brings recommendations, based on research, data, and COE counsel, and provides counsel to business and HR representatives on labor market conditions, talent supply, prevailing compensation trends and associated analytics to guide talent-related decisions.

  • Communicate and champion the talent acquisition strategy, ensuring that the talent acquisition function is effectively meeting talent demands, best in class talent acquisition organization and "easy to do business with".  

  • Applies talent strategy and plans (including staffing plans), with partnership from peers, TA Leadership and COE counsel, for the business by leveraging data.  

  • Acts as a key point person by develops ongoing relationships with the HRBPs and Senior Business Leaders.

  • Understand the strategy of the business as it relates to talent demands. Support growth hiring through applying sourcing strategies and analyzing labor markets alongside the talent acquisition programs and operational teams.

  • Communicate findings to talent acquisition leadership in support of continuous improvement to talent acquisition strategies.

  • Stay abreast of labor market conditions, including talent supply and skills demand.

  • Ensure all departmental artefacts (job summaries / descriptions, policies, standard operating procedures, job aids, process maps, etc.) are kept current and accurate by being aware of the changing nature of work.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a BA degree in HR related field and/or marketing or communications field and a minimum of 5 years of talent acquisition experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.  

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences

  • Strategic HR Business Partner experience preferred.

  • Experience influencing teams and executing projects in a large organization

  • Experience creating talent acquisition strategies related such as strategic sourcing, diversity initiatives, etc.

  • Experience interpreting data to make decisions and researching labor market statistics.  

  • In-depth knowledge of the talent acquisition landscape in health insurance industry strongly preferred.

  • Masters degree; professional HR/TA Certification(s) strongly preferred.
