Title: Cyber Security Analyst/Advisor

Location: Indianapolis, IN; Richmond, VA; Atlanta, GA:

Maintains enterprise information security policies, technical standards, guidelines, procedures, and other elements of an infrastructure necessary to support information security in compliance with established company policies, regulatory requirements, and generally accepted information security controls.  Responsible for the delivery of strategic network security, access control and secure transaction/messaging solutions.  Ensures security solutions involving the use of technologies are well-conceived, designed and implemented in compliance with enterprise standards. This is a new role and a successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to help define, create, implement and track security programs across the company, encompassing all areas of cyber security.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:  

  • Instrumental in maturing a world-class security program and will get exposure to a large variety of cyber security technologies.

  • Drive projects to successful completion and with excellent writing and communication skills as well as proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project.

  • Create a plan, identify roles and stakeholders, develop timeline, measure progress, and report metrics.

  • Present results to management on a regular basis.

  • Provides first level engineering design functions and trouble resolution;

  • Provides trouble resolution and serves as point of technical escalation on complex problems;

  • Leads or plans implementations for access management and network security technologies; develops testing plans to ensure quality of implementation;

  • Leads the investigation and reporting of data security events and incidents;

  • Provides technical support to business and technology associates in risk assessments and implementation of appropriate information security procedures, standards and technologies;

  • Maintains security incident response plans;

  • Recommends changes and updates to strategy;

  • Develops support procedures and performance metrics reports;

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires BS/BA degree in Information Technology or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years experience in one or more systems support, system administration, system engineering, system security, access management, network security, network communications, computer networking, systems development and management, hardware, software, and/or data; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.  

  • 3+ years experience in areas of security including Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Threat Management, Encryption, or Policy compliance.

  • 1+ years leading technology projects

  • 1+ years experience with PowerPoint and Excel

Preferred Skills, Experiences and Competencies:

  • Project planning and management skills using MS Project are a plus:

  • Cyber Security(CISSP, etc), project management(PMP), or other technology certifications, or equivalent experience a plus.
