Integrated Pharmacy GTM Product Lead (Go To Market Director Sr)

Location: Aligned to an Elevance Health office, but eligible to work remotely.

As part of CSBD Products & Segments, the Large Employer Strategy & Solutions organization is committed to enabling our segments and markets grow membership and earnings through Elevance Health’s relationship with large employers. The Pharmacy GTM Product Lead will represent an important role within the Large Employer Segment; and lead one of our most important growth initiatives for the business.

How you will make an impact:

  • Partner across CSBD, Local and National markets to define priorities that drive growth of integrated pharmacy business.

  • Collaborate and partner to develop strategies that support CSBD and CarelonRx business objectives.

  • Research new ventures and prospective revenue expansion opportunities.

  • Maintain integrated roadmaps for development and deployment of pharmacy capabilities into Commercial markets.

  • Deliver CSBD requirements for development and enhancement of pharmacy programs, networks and delivery methods.

  • Develop and drive execution of GTM plans needed for CSBD deployment, including timing, interdependencies and training.

  • Oversee coordinated execution plans to ensure ongoing alignment between CSBD and CarelonRx businesses.

  • Develop business rules and governance structure to control carve-out of pharmacy solutions in Commercial markets.

  • Serves as an SME and provides coaches and mentors team and leaders in the organization projects and strategies.

  • Leads portfolio and project planning initiatives from beginning to end for a line of business, including assessment, development, and implementation ensuring business controls are in place to monitor and identify process improvements.

  • Leads the development of new enterprise processes (reporting, IT system changes, business practices, etc.).

  • Partners with executive leadership to define strategy and successful criteria.

  • Translates the strategy into defined tactics, and ensures alignment with strategic plans to turn strategy into reality.

  • Evaluates portfolio outcomes against the segment strategy to guide future activities.

Minimum Requirements: 

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including 3 years of portfolio management, product development, and/or project/program management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.


Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Experience and knowledge in healthcare product management supporting large employers highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of pharmacy benefits; PBM experience.

  • Demonstrated results in three or more of the following areas: Product Development, Product Strategy, Sales, Market Strategy, Market Research, or Consulting strongly preferred.  

  • Deep understanding of market trends and developments in large employer commercial segments.

  • Knowledge of commercial customers and customer needs in the segments.

  • Strong understanding of market-leading practices, competitive intelligence, and cutting-edge innovation in the market.

  • Experience in building strong internal and external relationships with key teams/stakeholders.

  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties. 

  • Experience interacting confidently with senior management, as s subject matter expert and comfortable with influencing decision-making.

  • Mastery of Microsoft Office products, most notably Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Word.

  • MBA preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $125,280 to $225,504
