Responsible for maintaining Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) risk register, response plans, databases and accumulation of relevant metric/data sources, across all lines of business and functions. Provide valuable insights to the business to improve the effectiveness of risk management, monitoring and mitigation processes.  

Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Supports ERM processes including identification and analysis of risks.  Coordinates with other risk functions (e.g., Compliance, Information Security, Internal Audit) throughout the organization to accumulate and evaluate risk information, data and key risk indicators.  
  • Provides project management support to track and update ERM data.  
  • Works with business partners to address deficiencies and mitigation plans.
  • Assists in the preparation of meeting materials for relevant meetings, including Audit Committee, Senior Leadership Team, and Enterprise Risk Council.  
  • Supports external and internal reporting.  

Minimum Requirements: BA/BS in related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in health insurance managed care, compliance, risk management or related functions; or 2 years in public accounting (e.g., Big Four firm); or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.  

Preferred qualifications:

  • Finance and/or accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact and engage with associates across multiple disciplines and locations.  
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • CPA, CIA, CISA, CRMA, RIMS-CRMP or other risk management certification.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Risk Management concepts and principles, and how to apply them.  
  • Project management and data visualization skills.
  • Understanding of insurance company operations and regulations.
  • Excel and PowerPoint experience.
