Provider Relations Network Intern - Summer 2023

This Provider Relations Network Intern will be responsible for supporting our Louisiana Network Regions team in projects including, but not limited to; maintaining lines of communication to ensure positive provider partnerships, performing outreach to establish and build upon current business relationships, and facilitating large-scale data analysis across several lines of business.

This is a 100% remote, paid internship opportunity. It will start as a full-time, 40 hour per week Summer internship from June 5th, 2023 to August 11th, 2023. There is also a possibility for an extension of this internship. If extended, the internship will become a part-time, 20 hour per week co-op throughout the following year.

How you will make an impact:

  • Perform innovative work that will impact those we serve

  • Participate in compliance-related projects that will expand the current scope of department oversight in relation to provider support

  • Be responsible for data management, driving process improvement and efficiencies

  • Contribute to business deliverables on a metrics-based system

Minimum Requirements:

  • Actively pursuing a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related degree at an accredited college or university

  • Ability to work the hours set forth by the internship program listed in the description above

  • Authorized to work in the U.S., without future visa sponsorship requirements

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel

  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral

  • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills

  • Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills
