A Risk Adjustment Intern will be responsible for reporting and process automation that will allow us to support our clinical team in providing the highest level of care to our patients.

How you will make an impact:

  • Work with the Risk Adjustment and Coding team to create new reports that serve the business needs of the team

  • Assist in evaluation of existing reports to enhance automation where possible

  • Collaborate with IT and Data Science teams to tie together disparate reports into a cohesive narrative

  • Participate in bi-weekly strategy meetings with regional providers to review their current performance relative to prior periods

Functions OR examples of projects for this role:

  • Create graphs and charts to provide underlying insights and actionable intelligence

  • Analyze data for a specific market or provider using any of the following tools: MS Excel, SQL Server, Alteryx, SAS and Tableau

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the Summer 2023 internship

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, STEM, or other related degrees at an accredited university during internship

  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills

  • Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills
