Data Admin Analyst SR (Data Developer)

Location: Remote/WFH; Office time optional; Richmond, VA preferred but not required. 

The Data Admin Analyst Sr is Responsible for translating moderately complex and varied business needs into application software requirements. Possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems and business analysis and can consider the business implications of the application of technology to current and future business environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex and varied business needs.
  • Analyzes and designs solutions to address complex and varied business needs.
  • Design, implement, and deploy enterprise marketing data solutions using cutting-edge cloud-based technologies.
  • Design, develop, implement and maintain Data-related micro service architectures: pipelines that are scalable, optimized, and fault-tolerant.
  • Define and develop guidelines, standards, and processes to ensure Data Quality and Integrity.
  • Transform and clean Data to help develop key insights, forecasts, segmentation schemes, and Data-driven analyses to drive customer value.
  • Consults with business partners concerning application and implementation of technology.
  • Mentor and collaborate with peers.
  • Work with stakeholders and Design teams to assist with Data-related technical issues and support their Data infrastructure needs.
  • Design Data to work with various Machine Learning algorithms, and work with those algorithms to further gather, iterate, refine, and derive insights in a virtuous cycle.

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years experience in information systems with 3 years experience in data administration; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Strongly Preferred Skills, Capabilities and experiences:

  • 7+ years SQL knowledge and experience working with Relational and non-Relational databases.
  • 4+ years experience in developing systems with cloud technologies. AWS Data Lake experience and working on AWS services like Glue, Lambda, Cloud Watch is required
  • 4+ years expertise in Python and JavaScript is required.
  • Experience with designing complex Data Models and Engineering Solutions for Data Warehouses from various heterogeneous data Sources.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and tune database configurations, ETL processes using SSIS and SQL code for optimal performance.
  • Understanding of Big Data pipeline methodologies, including document parsing techniques and managing large-scale data sets.
  • Hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Recent experience with micro services, scalability, and data pipelines.
  • Experience debugging performance issues in large-scale production environments.
  • Experience with Bitbucket, GitHub and Jira. Agile methodologies is a Plus
  • Proficiency in Star\Snowflake DB Schema, NoSQL Databases, and Cloud        Platform\services experience preferred.
  • Expert in Marketing Campaign and Process Automation
