The Business Analyst III is responsible for serving as the liaison between the business and IT in translating complex business needs into application software.
How you will make an impact:
- Analyzes complex end-user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
- Gather and document business requirements.
- Works with technical staff to ensure business requirements drive system design and passes QA testing.
- Work SMEs to document process and workflows.
- Develop test plan for new work (existing & new implementations).
- Triage and prioritize new report requests.
- Responsible for all reporting both internal and external.
- Run queries for existing and create new logic to support IT Developers.
- Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.
- May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as the technical expert for the team.
- Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years business analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Must have the following experience: Access, SQL, Database, BRD development, Business Testing, Visual Studio, Modeling.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
- Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
- Tableau and PowerBI preferred.
- 8-10 years reporting, data, tables, SQL queries, analytic experience, variance analysis, requirement elicitation.
- Bachelors in Business Analytics, any combination of PMI and/or IIBA business analyst certifications PBA/ AAC/ CBDA/ CPOA certifications strongly preferred.
