This is a floating position so candidate must be willing to travel and work at all of CareMore Medical Clinics in Pima County, AZ

Location: Office Based working out of the following medical offices : 4831 N. Stone Ave., Tucson, AZ; 4705 S. Landing Way, Tucson, AZ; 7091 E. Speedway Blvd, Tucson, AZ; 191 W. Esperanza Blvd., Green Valley, AZ. 

Work Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

The Nurse Practitioner, Floater is responsible for managing patient care and treatment (in person, telephonically and/or video). 

How will you make an impact: 

  • Perform health assessments, preventative health measures, chronic and complex care management, wound management to include same day appointments within prescribed guidelines and physician collaboration. 

  • Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs. 

  • Collaborate with physician partners. 

  • Formulate and document care plan. 

  • Prescribe medication or other forms of treatment. 

  • Participate in rotating On-Call program, which may include after-hours, weekend and holiday calls and visitations. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires an MS in Nursing and minimum of 1 year of related experience with clinical emphasis for nurse practitioner; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 

  • Current unrestricted RN license and NP license in the state of Arizona is required

  • Prescribing or furnishing authority/DEA licensure in good standing

  • For CareMore business units, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Experience working with the geriatric patient population.
