The Staff Vice President of Risk Services will lead a team responsible for supporting the management of current and future internal and external risk contracts as well as the development of new value-based (medical cost risk) programs and services. These new risk models will support AIM/myNEXUS growth strategy while maintaining a focus on improving member care and client value.  

This role will encompass leading an end-to-end product management lifecycle from development through sales, implementation, and support.
Primary duties include but are not limited to:

The qualified candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of Risk/VBC management experience, and/or consulting in the healthcare industry 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  •  Demonstrated risk contracting and services successes

  • Significant experience in managing total medical expenses (MLR) 

  •  Excellent communication skills, including written, oral, presentation, and listening

  •  BA/BS degree in a related field

  • Ability to travel to Chicago or Nashville, TN once a month 

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Experience speaking at conferences and workshop engagements specialized in Risk/VBC is a plus

  • Ability to collaborate with both internal and external partners (Providers & C-Suite) while managing large-scale change effectively 

  • Graduate degree and/or professional designation related to the field desirable
