Carelon's External Growth team for the Client Delivery verticle is looking to hire a Director of Client Management.  This People Leader will be responsible for planning, developing, and leading a team of Client Development Directors and Account Service Managers responsible for meeting client deliverables, account retention, and ensuring the operational interface between client systems and operations areas.   This Director will lead the client management team serving the health plan clients of CareMore Health and Aspire Health,  national leaders of Value-based care delivery.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Develops and implements client retention and growth strategies. Ensures client deliverables are being met, including compliance with contractual obligations; ensures performance review meetings with clients are taking place and benefits are set up correctly and claims are adjudication properly. Supports system migrations; provides subject matter expertise to ensure connectivity and alignment. Develops training materials/forums to educate associates on how to effectively sell groups on the Carelon Care Delivery value proposition. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 10 years of account management and/or operations experience in the managed care industry; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Highly preferred skills and experience:

-Experience with provider network and general health plan practices, products, pricing, and service delivery strongly preferred.

-Strong understanding of vendor/health plan contracting, pricing and analytics expertise.

-Experience with large, complex health plan engagements and developing strategies for effective client management.

-Experience with vendors in the value-based care delivery domain

-Understanding of ongoing client relationships to ensure the quality, consistency, satisfaction, and renewal of services delivered and oversee the implementation of new accounts, products, policies, and services

-Skilled at leading interdepartmental working relationships in support of client retention

-Mentoring and leading a team of account management associates in multiple locations

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $140,000 to $252,000.
Locations: Colorado; Nevada, Jersey City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithaca, NY and Westchester County, NY
