Reporting to the VP Network & VBS Operations

Direct Reports 5-10

Span of control 150-175 when fully staffed
 

Responsible for directing, managing, designing, and leading Care Delivery Transformation efforts across all Payment Innovation programs. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Owns Care Delivery Transformation national and regional market strategy across all lines of business.
  • Establishes and implements a master operating and staffing model and sets teamwide goals for outcomes. Sets vision and value proposition that supports both VBS objectives and those of the business lines that Care delivery transformation supports.
  • Develops and maintains infrastructure and reporting for programs supporting the medical neighborhood.
  • Leads the clinical aspects of Payment Innovation work.
  • Collaborates with internal clinical, technical, and information management partners to identify and deliver a collaborative framework to support a transformation to patient-centered, high-quality, cost-effective care models.
  • Designs and manages strategy, planning, and strategic alignment of provider performance measurement reporting and reward programs.
  • Partners with others across enterprise to identify, prioritize, and integrate Cost of Care (COC) opportunities into Payment Innovation programs.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Requirements

  • Requires an MBA, MHA or similar degree.
  • 10+ years of management experience in healthcare operations, budgeting and forecasting, process improvement, or planning experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Proven experience in provider engagement strategies
  • Significant experience managing clinical programs (Care Management, Clinical Transformation, etc.) strongly preferred.
  • Travel 20% possible
