Workforce Supply Chain Inventory Analyst Internship

A Workforce/Supply Chain Inventory Analyst Intern will be responsible for working with business partners as well as internal teams to find opportunities for the WFM team to better manage inventory in their areas or to offer help in building reports for those areas.

How you will make an impact:

  • Creating and maintaining databases and/or spreadsheets to track business performance.
  • Analyzing data and summarizing performance using summary statistical procedures.
  • Developing and analyzing business performance reports (e.g. for claims data, provider data, utilization data) and provides notations of performance deviations and anomalies.
  • Creating and publishing periodic reports, as well as any necessary ad hoc reports.
  • Taking business issue and devising best way to develop appropriate diagnostic and/or tracking data that will translate business requirements into usable decision support tools.
  • May require making recommendations based upon data analysis.
  • Providing analytic consultation to other business areas, leadership, or external customers.
  • Creating capacity planning models, as needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration at an accredited college or university during internship
  • Ability to work 40 hours per work during duration of summer internship program
  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirement
  • Advanced Skills in Microsoft Products (Access, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
  • Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills
