Location: Hybrid remote - must be able to work in office 1x per week minimum; Chicago area highly preferred.

Marketing Project Manager Sr

Independently provides project management leadership and executional support in the end-to-end lifecycle of complex campaigns with large budget, scope and visibility; serves as mentor for other marketing project managers. 

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Works actively with Carelon marketing partners and creative teams to facilitate successful delivery of Marketing Plans, tactical campaigns, and development of marketing assets.
  • Manages multiple projects with simultaneous tasks or requests with speed, accuracy, and agility.
  • Remains aligned with Strategy/Planners to review and understand the strategy and tactical plans.
  • Serves as primary point of contact for campaign execution within their area of focus.
  • Collaborates with business partners and Subject Matter Experts to ensure smooth and successful delivery of marketing plans and campaigns.

Project management duties:

  • Manages day to day activities to ensure all Marketing plans, programs and projects are successfully delivered on time and within scope.
  • Develops the end-to-end project plan to help Marketing managers understand key milestones and document executional timeline.
  • Submits creative brief aligned to strategy requests in Workfront.
  • Manages and monitors the end-to-end Workfront process with expertise, including monitoring workflows, tasks, reviews, and project status; identifies and recommends process improvements.
  • Facilitates traffic for the creative process, such as: creates production schedules, assigns forms numbers and file names, coordinates translation of materials, requests source files, obtains required approvals, manages the production/upload of materials to vendors.
  • Completes the campaign checklist to make sure all administrative tasks are complete prior to launch
  • Coordinates execution of tactical campaigns with teams outside of CSBD Marketing, such as omnichannel campaigns, channel optimization, social media, and advertising.
  • Works with creative teams to facilitate projects through all stages to ensure deliverables are produced in a timely, accurate and effective manner, such as: research, writing, design, proofreading, translation, final review/approval, print, mail, POD programming, and posting/archiving assets.
  • Engages and secures appropriate reviews for Legal, Compliance or other Control Partners.
  • Flags concerns or roadblocks with Marketing manager to determine and activate next best steps.

Content and creative execution responsibilities:

  • Supports the development of sound creative briefs in collaboration with Marketing Management team.
  • Coordinates content for creative development to ensure all information provided to Creatives is clear, concise, complete, and on strategy.
  • Circulates creative drafts for review and feedback as appropriate and ensures stakeholder feedback and strategic alignment.
  • Combines and incorporates all feedback to return to Creative team. 
  • Coordinates proofreading and quality reviews to ensure all assets activate UVP and messaging maps and meet brand guidelines.
  • Ensures consistency and standardization of all materials.
  • Supports as needed launch and maintenance of marketing communications assets.
  • Supports as needed gathering performance data and shares with the Marketing Management, such as: high level insights on campaign performance

Minimum Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
