AIM Specialty Health's Client Delivery Team is looking to hire a Client Development Director . This high performing individual contributor will be responsible for the development of new client accounts within the ASO, Employer Group/National Account market segments . S/he will interface with the new client development/sales teams in the different areas of Elevance Health's local, group, and national commercial business. S/he will partner with these teams to find opportunities, scope the deal through analysis, value assessment, tracking, and managing--ensuring we win the business and smoothly transition the work into the project pipeline.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Develops strategies and executes plans to identify, target, and secure new clients to achieve goals in growth, profitability, retention, and strategic value. Networks and prospects for new clients. Sells the Carelon value proposition to assigned groups. Provides consultative subject matter expert information on the suite of products offered by Carelon. Designs and implements standard and customized bundles of Carelon services to seize unique cost-of-care and quality improvement opportunities for client groups. Leads client account implementation servicing to ensure their recognition of value and satisfaction with Carelon services. Builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Understands the issues specific to the client and applies knowledge, insight and experience into strategic recommendations. Understands the business processes that the system supports. May develop product and sales support messaging and materials, and provide input into the design of an account planning and renewal strategy.
Requires a BA/BS in health care related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience in account management, sales and/or operations in the health care industry; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Highly preferred skills and experiences:
- A successful track record of selling specialty care/benefit management services and technology for leading healthcare companies to target customers is strongly preferred.
-Experience selling into ASO and National Accounts employer segment preferred.
-Advanced user of the Salesforce platform
-Experience in a healthcare consulting role focused on sales, clients, or project delivery.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $123,000 to $222,000.
