Location: Remote within the US

How you will make an impact:

  • Plans, directs, and controls the resources and efforts of reporting and data analysis team to accomplish the company objectives through information management.
  • Obtains resources (people, funding, material, support) to support business unit information needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Provides leadership in motivating subordinates to accomplish reporting and data analysis goals and objectives.
  • Develops a strong team through training and effective organizational development practices.
  • Reports project status and progress to business unit senior management.
  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of output and deliverables for assigned functional areas.
  • Implements the policies, practices, and procedures of the company and business units supported.
  • Has fiscal responsibility for area budgets.
  • Establishes relationships with business users both internal and external.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
  • Oversees entire reporting/analysis/consulting unit or all aspects of a centralized function.
  • Participates with other executives to establish strategic plans and objectives.
  • Makes final decisions for IM function at the business unit level and ensures operations' effective achievement of objectives.
  • Coordinates project management across department & divisional line.
  • Ability to communicate with customers about technical issues in non-technical terms.
  • Understands the business processes that the system supports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires Bachelor's degree and 10+ years experience leading project teams, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Knowledge of IM technologies, organizational structure, and customer information needs preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with risk adjustment methodology required. Medicare risk adjustment strongly preferred.
  • Experience using CMS model to calculate risk scores strongly preferred. 
  • Extensive experience in either managing risk adjustment vendor program data, or performing revenue-based calculation using CMS model required.
  • Knowledge of claims data, RAPS, and EDS submission a plus.
  • Experience programming in SAS or SQL required.  SAS programming ability strongly required, with a strong ability to mentor others.
  • Proven analytic thinking ability when troubleshooting data concerns.  Must be able to recognize data issues and trouble shoot root cause analysis of unexpected results.
  • Ability to determine an effective analytic deliverable, based on customer requirements, and mentor others to build this skill.
  • Experience managing and mentoring analysts in a remote environment. A strong, effective teaching ability is required.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • SAS certification a plus.
  • Actuarial experience a plus.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $128,856.00 - 161,070.00
