As a Customer Care Associate, you will act as a trusted advisor and educator on health care related inquires.    You will be the one helping members navigate their healthcare needs by explaining their benefits, solving a claim concern, or finding a doctor nearby. You will also be their advocate by reminding them about their annual physical or that they have additional wellness benefits that they could take advantage of to better their health. You will be their partner in improving the healthcare experience and will ensure that they only need to call once to get the help they need. 

Here’s what a typical day may look like:
•    From the moment you login, you’ll be focused on responding to our members questions via an Omni-channel solution (telephone, mobile app, portal, secure messaging and chat) and demonstrating our values of caring as you proactively work to resolve their questions and concerns.
•    While you are assisting members you will receive relevant pop-ups suggesting health reminders or education specific to supporting your member’s healthcare needs. 
•    You’ll strive for first call resolution, working to resolve member concerns at the first point of contact.
•    You’ll have dual monitors and leverage computer-based resources to find answers to members questions and help simplify next steps for members without giving them homework.
•    You may reach out to partners in other departments, or to Doctors’ offices to help resolve any concerns.
•    You’ll support your teammates and have the ability to flex as business needs require to ensure we are meeting the needs of our members.

This role will be onsite during training, but primarily a virtual position after the training period. There may be times where you are asked to go into the office to resolve equipment issues, participate in team meetings/activities or for business needs.

The shift for this position will be Monday – Friday from 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM EST 

Minimum Qualifications:
•    A HS Diploma and a minimum of two years of experience in Customer Service or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications
•    Healthcare experience preferred, but not required. We will set you up for success with extensive work specific training.
•    Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility for your teammates and our members, demonstrated by the simplest things like being on time and available to meet member’s needs, to being easy to work with and having a positive attitude. 
•    A passion for serving others, and willingness to learn the health-care industry.
•    Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to be empathetic and desire to help resolve members questions at the first point of contact.
