The Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineering Manager will be a key leader of our cyber security team. The IAM SR. Engineering Manager will work closely and partner with multiple separate groups to implement new features and capabilities within the identity space. Responsible for a team that will automate Identity provisioning and deprovisioning processes quickly, accurately, and securely. Mentoring associates, working collaboratively across different organizations, creating, and maintaining product roadmaps, and implementing software development best practices across the team are the major highlights, but not limited to, the Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineering Manager role. 

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:  

  • Oversees and implements new subsystems, procedures, and techniques; manages implementation/integration of projects to ensure deliverables. 

  • Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with key business partners.  

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. 

  • Own the team’s software, helping define solutions to problems while mitigating long-term risks and providing production support. 

  • Integrate security tools, standards, and processes into the Software Development Life Cycle across on-premises and cloud applications. 

  • Create new standards and best practices to increase effectiveness of provisioning and deprovisioning across a diverse environment. 

  • Automate provisioning and integration as part of mergers and acquisitions. 

  • Ensure appropriate documentation and testing on all software delivered. 

Minimum Requirements:   

  • BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of experience leading project teams, application software development, maintenance or implementation and support, including 3 years of management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • 5+ years of Software Development experience. 

  • Proficient with a variety of Software development / scripting languages such as Java / Python. 

  • 2+ year Experience in front end web technologies and frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue. 

  • 2+ year building and maintaining cloud native applications. 

  • 3+ years of experience in directly managing a software development team of 5+ team members. 

  • Superior organization skills with the ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and large environment. 

  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with Identity and Access Management. 

  • 2+ years working with SailPoint. 

  • 2+ years working with Okta. 

  • 2+ years cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure). 

  • Proven track record of leading software development teams in an agile methodology and launching production-ready applications.  

  • Software solutions should be enterprise grade and focus on a consistent user experience. 

  • Experience in delivering outcomes through agile software delivery. 

  • Excellent communications skills and be able to build strong relationships with senior leaders and peers.  

  • Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts and tools such as Active Directory and SailPoint is a plus. 

  • Familiarity with IT control processes around risk and compliance. 

  • Familiarity with Security domain concepts such as SAML, OAUTH, OIDC, LDAP, SSO, ADFS, and Federation flow. 

  • Experience with Privileged Access solutions is a plus. 

  • Experience managing delivery of full-stack technical solutions. 

  • Effectively lead or collaborate with cross-functional resources to manage and resolve interdependencies. 

  • Must be able to carry out verbal and/or written instructions. 

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment 

  • Must have strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
