Job Title: Engineer Lead
Location: Atlanta GA
The Engineer Lead is responsible for maintaining active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and leads requirements gathering meetings. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Design and Develop large scale or complex applications in Agile methodology.

Responsible for designing and building front end applications with Angular and Microservices with Springboot and Node js.

Leads requirements gathering meetings and reviews designs with the business.

May implement improvements in stability, performance, and scalability across major business-critical systems.
-
May implement process to reduce barriers and roadblocks in projects, services, and processes in order to operate more efficiently.

Owns the change request process and coordinates with other teams as necessary.

Develops and owns list of final enhancements.
-
Develops and defines application scope and objectives and supervises the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written.

Performs technical design reviews and code reviews.

Provide architectural support and guidance to the enterprise for enabling, designing, and supporting solutions which impact the business support and functioning and associated IT modules/solutions.

Participate in large scale implementations impacting the core functionality and support frameworks of the applications.

Responsible for delivery of end-to-end application, system development and maintenance on complex multi technology platforms within assigned client group, business unit or corporate department and utilizing various customer technology platforms.

Knowledge on Apache Tomcat, WebLogic server configuration and set-up.

Conduct an analysis of business needs including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting, and making verbal and written presentations.

Make technical recommendations based on evolving technologies and knowledge of current and evolving application architecture trends including web technologies such as JSP and Web services.

Maintains technical development environment.

Mentor team members and lead multiple or small to medium sized projects.

Will begin to set direction at the project/service level and influences decision-making.

Work as a liaison between business and technical teams to provide subject matter expertise on the business modules and improvement of solution effectiveness.

Work with onshore and offshore resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 7 years related experience; multi platform, multi-dimensional experience, and expert level experience with business and technical applications; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience in developing services using AWS services strongly preferred
-
Experience in SOA standards and web services technologies such as SOAP, WSDL
-
Expertise in Relational Databases(oracle, DB2, MySql) and NoSql Databases(Mongo DB, dynamo DB) and in memory technologies(Redis).

Experience in developing applications using streaming platform(Kafka)
-
Experience in creating Junit test classes and resolving code quality issues using sonarqube, checkmarx and snyk.

Experience in container platforms(Docker, Kubernetes)
-
Expertise in Devops tools including Jira, Git, BitBucket, Bamboo

Experience in analyzing logs and triage issues using Splunk and wily.
