Director, Clinical Account Management

Location:  This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Director, Clinical Account Management is responsible for the development of clinical account management strategies, targets, and plans in collaboration with Account Management, Health Care Analytics, Clinical Solutions, Sales and Consultation relations. Contributes to and directs work with clients and prospects to drive improved client retention, membership, sales and op gain growth.

How you will make an impact:

  • Assists with the development of clinical account management strategies, targets, and tactical plans.

  • Provides direct client service through data-driven consultative clinical account management services in support of current and emerging client needs.

  • Establishes and maintains the tools, resources and infrastructure to support training and development; information sharing; and the continuous improvement of the team, ensuring consistent and efficient application of best practices.

  • Coordinates the annual Clinical Account Management Consultant Forum as well as regional consultant meetings and internal team meetings.

  • Partners with consultants and brokers to demonstrate commitment to delivering exceptional value to our mutual clients and to drive expanded sales opportunities of clinical/population health, specialty business and core services.

  • Works with Health Care Analytics to guide the development of reporting and analytics in support of go-to -market value proposition.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires BA/BS degree in nursing or other health related field and a minimum of 10 years experience in account management, consulting, client reporting and analysis, clinical operations, or business management; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. A minimum of 5 years leadership experience required

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

MA/MS or other advanced degree in health related field preferred. Health Care Insurance Producer Licensure, Project Management or other health related certifications preferred. Experience working with various health care vendors including carriers, specialty vendors and data analytics vendors preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $151,440 to $286,221.
