Location: Candidate Must Reside in Southern California And be a licensed Nurse Practitioner in California . Position will be working out in the field 2 to 3 days a week which may include a CareMore Corporate Office, CareMore Medical Centers and visiting Field Nurse Practitioners.
The Director Regional Nursing is responsible for strategy, operational oversight, standards of care, care delivery and performance that drive quality outcomes and excellence in care for NPs, RNs, and LPNs in a defined region, in partnership with the Regional Medical Officer (RMO) and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
How will you make an impact:
On-site market presence weekly, working with Nurse Practitioner Managers, and/or market clinical leaders.
Provide strategic and operational direction for the delivery of performance based medical management for all functional lines in partnership with the Regional Medical Officer.
Work collaboratively across different functional areas including Management Services Organization (MSO) leaders for case management, utilization management, and compliance, providing local insight and working to address barriers and navigate regional relationships while reconciling national and regional strategies with the Regional Medical Officer and Market President.
Establish operational key performance indicators and ensures goals/targets are met.
Establish strategic and accountable partnership relationships with providers (acute and post-acute facilities, Home Health agencies), physician groups and vendors within the market.
Establish and drive performance standards by creating, monitoring and coaching to a balanced performance scorecard in order to accomplish established key performance indicators.
Establish and promote a culture of growth, change and diversity.
Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports.
Requires MS in Nursing from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and a minimum of 7 years leadership experience ; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Current, unrestricted RN and NP licenses in the state of California is required .
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
People management experience.
MHA, MBA in healthcare management preferred.
Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and managed care rules and regulations preferred.
DNS-CT (Director Nursing Services Certified) preferred.
Prescribing or furnishing authority/DEA licensure in good standing.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $148,948 to $223,422
