Business Change Manager – Grievance and Appeals
Location: This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of an Elevance Health PulsePoint locations and be willing to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) to meet the needs of our clients.
The Business Change Manager is responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support the achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.
How you will make an impact:
- Identifies potential issues, project charge, and scope.
- Leads efforts to identify best practices.
- Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.
- Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
- Designs methods for integrating function and process.
- Conducts cost/benefit analyses.
- Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BA/BS in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of process or project- related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :
- Prior experience in healthcare Claims Operations experience preferred.
- Prior experience working in healthcare Grievance and Appeals preferred.
- Prior experience in change management (e.g., ADKAR, ProSci, etc.) preferred.
- Prior experience in project management or business analysis (e.g., Lean, Agile, etc.) preferred.
- Prior experience in learning program management, instructional design, or learning technologies preferred.
- Experience in successfully developing and managing process improvement projects is strongly preferred.
- Experience using Next Gen software preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, problem solving skills, and strong attention to detail preferred.
